Following approval of the Development Application, if required for your project, Pearce Architecture converts the design drawings into the working drawings required for Building Approval and construction.
Once your design drawings are ready for Building Application, we proceed with additional documentation that is generally required for competitive tendering (pricing) ensuring that all of the “little” details are considered in the project.
The Architectural documentation required for Building Application generally includes:
- Site plan
- Floor Plans
- Roof Plan
- Elevations
- Sections
In addition to this, the Architectural documentation required for construction generally includes:
- Electrical and lighting plans
- Reflected ceiling plans
- Construction details
- Stair and joinery details
- Door and window schedules
- Finishes and Materials schedules
- Written specifications
During this stage of our services, Pearce Architecture liaises with and co-ordinates the other consultants involved in your project. We meet with you regularly and report to you promptly to keep the progression of your Architectural project running smoothly.
Other consultants involved in your project may include structural and services engineers, landscape architects, acoustic consultants, energy efficiency consultants and others, all depending upon the nature and complexity of your project.
