A new waterfront 'flashpackers" resort in Port Vila, Vanuatu.

The objective was to maximise the potential from an underutilised parcel of land with an existing nightclub and restaurant, while enhancing the atmosphere of the existing development.

Completed at the start of 2007 the resort features 30 rooms around an infinity edge swimming pool looking out the harbour entrance and a traditional bar building that forms the divider between the new works and the original development. The new development also features a new reception building and internet cafe.

Strong connection between the existing development and the waterfront location was maintained through careful location of the new buildings and retention of the existing mature coconut palms in a landscaped garden atmosphere.
